I think Utah, BYU and Air Force proved themselves the rough equals of all Pac 10 teams below USC. On any given day USC is more likely than not to blow out any MWC team, but the same is true with respect to any Pac 10 team below USC. USC's problem this year seemed to be mainly overconfidence.

USC had a combination of youth and and injuries on offense. That was their biggest problem.

And PC not taking Booty out when he broke his finger in the Stanford game.
