Thats exactly what my thought was, creek.
Back about 8 years ago when I started working on my own bikes, I had a very tight fitting tire that I couldn't get on by hand and ending up using a spoon and then a flathead screwdriver. I got the tire on, but ending up getting that slow leak that you mentioned. Several times. Over and over again, before I realized what a dufus I was. Now I try to avoid anything, even levers whenever possible. But a spoon could possibly do it. |
