Default it's worth GOP losing congress...

...just so that Joe Barton doesn't remain chairman of the energy and commerce committee.

He is blocking a NIH bill to research autism and breast cancer, despites its widespread support. This is tyrrany of the minority when one ass clown can hold back a bill that almost everyone wants.

Of course Joe Barton is about Satan himself, in that he is nothing but a representative of the coal industry. coal -> mercury emissions -> autism

I will be celebrating if the GOP loses control of the House. They are corrupt and no better than the Dems were when they were in the power. "We're going to change the culture of corruption" the GOP said. Bullsh*t. They just amped it up. "We're going to get rid of pork and earmarks." Bullsh*t. They just increased it to record amounts.

Barton is the worst sort of corporate congressman you can imagine. And of course with gerrymandering and the way the political system, he will probably be in office until he dies. Which may be soon, because he had a stroke not that long ago. Maybe he should think of funding stroke research. Or maybe he should stick his head in a coal smokestack.

Don Imus is jumping into the fray giving some publicity to this issue.

I don't know anything about Barton, but the economic chaos created by Dems would be and will be far worse than anything yoiu can imagine. The few sheckles you save now will be gone. Estate planning will be destroyed for our generation. It will be market catastrophe for the Dems to be in power. Capital gains will be increased, decreasing capital investment and top marginal rates will go through the roof. More control over health care than you can ever imagine. Bite your tongue. The Dems will be more corrupt and you will rue the day you ever posted that.

not true at all. THe GOP has turned into the democrats in power. You will see that the GOP will become the usual obstructionists if they lose power. They will fight pork instead of passing it in record amounts as they do now. The GOP has shown that they do a better job in the minority than the majority.

GOP president and democratic congress is perfect. Nothing gets passed except that wich has widespread support. and since most of what they do is wasteful, then this is perfect.

GOP losing congress is a good thing for everyone. and if a dem is elected president then GOP taking over congress is a good thing. Americans know this. This is why they always support the other party in midterm elections.

I think you are vastly overstating your case here. Even assuming that every single Democrat elected is the pure spawn of Satan himself and desires nothing more than to take away all of Archaea's money to waste on government pork, they simply couldn't do it. The President can veto any bill, and it would need 2/3 to override. They aren't going to have that in the Senate for sure, and I don't see any way possible it even happens in the house.

Furthermore, there are filibustering provisions in place (see- I told you Republicans would dig their own grave by trying to eliminate those). Those allow the minority to effectively slow or stop most bills. In the Senate, one Senator can stop most bills from going through at all by requesting his peers not vote on the issue. What you are worried about isn't a realistic concern.
