Ranking the top 3 in the MWC
1) TCU
2) Utah 3) BYU TCU has the best win of any of the top 3 schools. I think BYU and Utah are still pretty much a toss up, but with BYU being blown out last night I think for now Utah should be ranked higher. Utah is damn lucky to get BYU and TCU at home this year. If Utah wins the conference, it will because of the favorable home schedule. |

The schedule is favorable for the Utes right now. Having the two toughest teams for the season at home is a nice advantage. The Utes just can't afford anymore flat games for the season.

Oregon State would get demolished in the Rose Bowl. They'd better hope they don't get Penn State again.

RB is a neutral field. You don't think BYU would do better against TCU on a neutral field?

Oregon State is a pretty talented team. Their D is very young, very athletic, big, strong inside, close gaps quickly. Quizz Rodgers has fantastic lateral quickness & great strength, excellent speed. Their WRs are solid and Moevao is a damn good QB with a strong arm, he did a lot of damage in the play action game to the TEs (which they hadn't shown before)
As OSU gels, they're going to be very tough to beat. I could see them in the RB. I'm really glad we don't have to play them again. |
