Sports car afficianados!

I've had several luxury sedans, and earlier had a few sporty sedans. Recently, I obtained a sports car, to my delight and the chagrin of my spouse.

One of the many inconveniences of the car is a little known fact, if you buy one with a standard transmission, they don't last long. Apparently to save on the wear and tear on the engine, they are designed to fail early and often, at great expense. A reason to advocate the automatics.

Sporty sedan?

In most cases this is an oxymoron, M5, S4 and RS6 excluded. But these are just as much luxury as they are sporty. Unless you're talking Toyota Corolla S sporty. That's all together different.

But then again I have a small Golf GLS with 4 doors that I consider sporty. But then again it could be the 230 HP I have hidden under the hood.

For me, a sporty sedan would be a Lamborghini with 4 doors.

You're in luck.

Try the new Maseratti, Quattroportte. It's great.

I like the new Lamborghini, Gallardo, not too pricey, or at least as pricey as the Murcielago, but still nice. My wife says no. Perhaps a "friend" can give me one, so I can't turn it down.

Yes, the Quattroporte is very, very nice. And wouldn't you know? Quattroporte is Italian for "four doors".

Any Lamborghini would be nice. Sure, they're pricey, but my guess is that the insurance is the real cash sucker.

Ok. Just let me finish my caviar and then I'll get right down to the dealership.
