Sure. Listen to any post game interview. God and Jesus have lots to do with winning games.

Having said that, I do like that Bronco has embraced the Honor Code; Crowton didn't, and therefore many of his great recruits didn't stick around.

I htink he brings it up becasue it is probabyl going to be asked about and he would just as soon frame it in his words and with his own agenda as let it come up in some other way. I think he handles that part just fine. THose are the rules, aftre all, and they do get talked about. I think the real probelm is that he has used so many religious phrases that we usually only hear on Sunday (or see derided in the religious forum) that for non-BYU fans it is like the Seinfeld "Worlds Collide" episode. For the rest of the world, however, those phrases just sound like coach speak from a religious guy and they aren't even conversational speed bumpbs.

You don't think some of the Ute whining about Bronco's statement has to do with us owning them?

The gloating will be orders of magnitude louder and more annoying than the whining.

I guess the little I hear I take about as seriously as when your average NFL RB kneels and points to the sky after he scores.

Ok...I'll give you that. I made the statement more as an afterthought anyway. Any issues with the rest of my post?
