No Country For Old Men
Came on out on DVD on Tuesday and I finally watched it last night.
For those who've read the book, and for those who're smarter than me, which is most of you, help me understand a couple of things. 1. What did Tommy Lee Jones character have at all to do with the structure or storyline of the movie? Help me understand. Was there some deeper meaning that I'm missing? I guess I just didn't understand why his character was even in the movie. How close was the adaptation to screen in line with the book? Was the ending the same? Also...remind me to never cross Javier Bardem's character. Wow...that guy was chilling.
