John Adams series on HBO
HBO is doing a mini-series on John Adams based on David McCullough's book:
http://www.hbo.com/films/johnadams/?...eat_main_title Paul Giamatti stars as John Adams. The critics are raving about it. I am tempted to get HBO just for this series since it will be tough to wait for the DVD. I expect some reviews from those of you with HBO subscriptions.

A couple weeks ago I was in Barnes & Noble and saw some new cover art for the John Adams book. I did a double take and said to myself..."I could swear that's Paul Giamatti." I picked it up and was surprised and delighted to see that HBO along with Tom Hanks is producing this Mini-series.
I'll wait for it to get released on DVD and rent it then, but to this day John Adams might be the best book I've read. I loved it from beginning to end.

Yeah, we just saw something on that last weekend and watched "the making of" so we're looking forward to the next few Sundays.
