Default All the Pretty Horses

Very weak film. Poor adaptation. Don't bother.

Yeah, like that title is going to interest any heterosexual male.

Cormac McCarthy--if you know anything about his books, you know they aren't "chick books".

Bore you to tears. I did notice that Cruz has a lot of crow's feet around her eyes I hadn't noticed before.

I thought the book was terrible as well. I just don't "get" his writing style. I know there are plenty of people who really liked the book (Lebowski?), I just wasn't one of them.

I liked this book. I think I read half the second one and bogged down and couldn't finish. It became so philosophical that I realized there was no longer a story being told.

It was a terrific book. A worthy recipient of the 1992 National Book Award.

I never saw the movie because I heard that it wasn't very good. And movies based on good novels almost always disappoint.

That's pretty funny, Indy. You obviously haven't read the book.

I enjoyed books two and three, but they were certainly not as good as the first one.
