Yeah we won, but I'm disappointed in some of the play calling. I'm not really sure Bronco has a handle on the big games--all the penalties, senior quarterback not taking care of the ball. Pretty disappointing. Sure I'm glad we won, but I cannot get rid of this sick feeling.

This was a good win, obviously.
Proud how our boys came out and hit them in the mouth. Impressed with the defense especially, good tackling. Looks like our secondary, esp. corners are huge upgrade. Max is Max. A little less consistent than I would like. But he was money on the last important drive. Good game for Anae. Was kind of ticked at Tonga, who has gone to the "I am 260 pounds and think it is a good idea to run east-west" Vakapuna running back school. But you can't have everything you want. Given their strength on DL, really impressive performance by the OL. Admittedly, I haven't been following the team closely, so I am impressed with the performance. It's better than I thought. HB Arnett said that CBs would be much better this year, he wasn't kidding. |
