Danimal was an at home dad for awhile. He and our son watched Bonanza reruns every day, religiously.

That's what I was thinking, too...Kunta, Kunta Kinte. Although I hate that scene in Roots.

So, here's my take on kids shows:

My all time favorite is Sesame Street. I've even got front row tickets to Sesame Street Live for next month. Ostensibly for my kids, right?

Anyway, my son (healthy) doesn't watch anything on TV at all. My son (handicapped) lives for television. Knows how to turn it on himself and change the channel.

We try to steer him toward Teletubbies and Baby Einstein, but more often than not he changes the channel to either Spanish Shopping Network or Jerry Springer!

Jerry Springer? That is awesome. Alex loves anything on the Outdoor Channel, but is most fond of the fishing shows.
