Uh...to experience an orgasm with a hot woman, to get something that they don't want to pay for, and to hurt someone they're angry at.

Your turn: What's the payoff for being gay?

Sometimes the minority needs protection from the majority. See civil rights movement. Cue a roll of the eyes from Tex.

Now you have backtracked to where "agenda" can mean virtually any coordinated effort regardless of motivation.

Yep, although those things are sins, there is an "upside" to them. There's no upside for an active LDS kid to choose to be gay.

I wonder how Tex and cougarobgon rationalize suicides by devout LDS gays?

So the only illogical decision a man can make in this world is to become gay. Everything else makes sense.

Gotcha.

I'm not rolling my eyes, I agree with you. But minority rights do not trump all.

It's a great bumpersticker, but it practice it's a little more complicated.

That doesn't even make any sense.

"Stop using the same cliched tired old argument. Ya got anything new?"

There, Tex, I saved you the trouble.

I'm right here. You can just ask me.

Signed,
Board of Education, Topeka, KS

Sorry for the repeat, Tex, but I'm sort of tired of the same old lame argument.

EDIT: Sorry--Flystripper already got this one. Hadn't read his yet.

Just something to think about: what percentage of the population of California is gay? what percentage of the population voted against Prop 8? I think the support by non-gays for gays is significant.

Also, you're not really making an argument in favor of the tyranny of the majority, are you? Many of us think we have a duty to protect the rights of the minority.
