From my view, that pick was not illegal. I guess the refs had the same view I did.

lol, all picks are illegal when the ball is in the air. That's like saying it was not an illegal bank robbery.

I thought it was illegal and should have been called. However, I also think that had they not picked the defender, the play would have been successful anyway, because the defender was too far behind the receiver.

At the time I thought that it was legal but after thinking about it I realized that it was not. The ball has to get to the receiver before the block('pick') can be thrown.
