You might be cool, but it doesn't matter if you can't win on the field in November brotha!

BYU doesn't seem to have much of a problem in September or October... but come November, they've struggled lately.
And that's not including when they have a december game(which isn't all that often lately). We'll leave that one alone... for now. |

I'll agree that BYU needs to start winning games that count, but you can't ignore the things that they've been doing thus far in recruiting. They've landed some pretty solid prospects VERY early. Munns, Kessmen, Fitzgerald (I think the WR from Oregon), DiLuigi, etc. are all early committs who look to be able to contribute. Each year they seem to land 4 or 5 players with legit D1 ability (ability to contribute at most programs across the country, guys like Watkins, Kuresa, Collie, etc.) This year it looks like they've landed some of those guys early, and, this is very good because they can hopefully persuade other studs who may be on the fence to come to BYU.
Ultimately, BYU needs to start winning the games that really count, but this is certainly a VERY big step in the right direction towards doing that. |
