Steak Marinades
I rarely marinade a steak.
While BBQ'ing I've found something I enjoy. I like to get the Montreal Seasoning and liberally apply it,,,then get a BBQ brush and pour some Famous Dave's BBQ sauce on the steak and then liberally spread it over the steak. I do it several times on each side while cooking. It turns out very tender and very tasty.

I cannot support this post until you replace "BBQ" with "Grilling".

Usually if I have a nice tender cut of something I am going to grill I just rub it with kosher salt and grill.
But usually with a lesser grade cut I'll do something similar to Rocky. I'll use Montreal steak seasoning and then brush on my own teriyaki glaze or if I don't have something of my own I'll use Yoshida's. Very nice sweetness combined with the bite of the Montreal steak seasoning.
