Remember a while back when SU said, academics don't take FARMS seriously?

He wasn't completely wrong. But FARMS has become the Maxwell Institute, and has largely (but not entirely) jettisoned apologetics.

Since defending faith is frowned upon by academics, I thought the the MI was angling for scholarly respect, and I thought it would backfire. Even if you excise apologetics, academics would still think you're a nutjob who believes in angels and gold plates. Just an insecure nutjob.

I was wrong.

And I've been reading the journal; there is still apologetics in there.

I didn't know the day would come this quickly.
