While I imagine no one got banned for anti-Mormon jokes and images that are highly offensive on Texags.

There is something terribly "little brother" about that.

We actually don't care about traffic and aren't concerned if no one else wants to join. We actually worry about being too big, if you can believe it.

A friend on this board has pointed out to me that most all of the teams we play resort to anti-Mormon bigotry on their boards.

I guess I really wasn't aware of this, because the only two college teams I have really cared about are BYU and A&M. So the A&M board is the only other college board I have followed and posted on.

So perhaps I have overreacted, probably because the bigotry hurt a lot more, given that A&M has been such a big part of my life for so long. Growing up going to the games with Dairy Queen tickets. Riding my bike around campus. Taking classes. Working on campus. I dare say I have spent more time in CS than most of the people on Texags.

When your friend stabs you in the back, that's always worse than some other person. It really bothers me that many people who I would like to be my own or be a part of (the Aggie family), are full of such contempt.

I will let go now. I will try not to post anymore about this topic. Lots of people hate us, many will always hate us, Aggie or not. There are probably no more Aggie Mormon-haters than other school's Mormon haters.

For me it's personal, and it's hard for me to walk away with my hat in my hand. I'm a fighter. But there is a time to fight and a time to walk away. I walk away.

Goodbye A&M. Maybe you will return to my heart someday. But it feels very far now.
