The bulk of our branch membership lives in the inner city and I'm always down there with church stuff. 13 murders this summer in a very small area (20 X 12 blocks).

My ward used to meet in a pretty bad area. There was a crack house next door to the meeting house that the Church eventually bought and tore down. Before I moved here, we had an investigator shot in the church parking lot.
