The thing that strikes me as funny and sad is how angry some ex-Mormons are. Hating something takes just as much energy as loving something. Why not just use your energy for something else? Oh, you’re saving people? No, you’re satisfying your own emotional needs.
I’ve brought this up before. Is it so hard to leave the church? MOST members do not attend or participate. Most of the boys I worked with in the YM program are now inactive. Both of my brothers became inactive (although one returned to activity years later). “Cult of Mormonism” lol. |

Obviously one reason to pursue being an ex-Mormon gadfly is because it pays your bills. I.e. it is how you make a living. Paying Dehlin is like paying tithing to Satan, lol.
