Arlington Road
is what happens when you take bad actors, add a depressing plot and a low budget, and end the movie in the worst way possible. As the credits roll you wish you could have your two hours back.

I liked Arlington Road quite a bit as well. It was interesting because it seemed like it was a few years before its time in how it dealt with terrorism. I actually really liked the cast of Tim Robbins, Jeff Bridges and Joan Cusack. It was a very disturbing flick as well.

I thought Jeff Bridges overacted by the end. Nick Cage (whom in general I consider a mediocre actor) did a much better job portraying psychological distress in Matchstick Men.

Arlington Road was probably more difficult for me to stomach than it would be for others, because there were repeated references to and imagery from the Oklahoma City bombing. But aside from that, I just don't enjoy disturbing films that play on our deeper fears.

Our current US administration thrives on playing to the american public's deepest fears. Wait, I guess that should be under the Political posts. Sorry about that.

I hear what you are saying, but it was a rather clever flick and Robbins was terrific in all of his is he a nice guy or a bad guy as well as his quiet demeanor.
