I pledge
All joking aside, it's really hard to see how there aren't going to be millions of very disappointed people at the end of this 4 years. I'm trying to think of the last President who came into office with this kind of Messiah-worship-type expectation. Reagan didn't even touch this. Kennedy maybe?

shrug.
I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I'm already entirely accustomed to watching the masses rally around an entity that debuts to great acclaim only to fail to live up to the hype in the end. |

The only thing to rival it will be the disappointment of millions of people if he actually turns out to be a good president. Not that I expect them to ever admit that.

Well, that's a very sour attitude.
