Jean Valjean - good
M&M Thenardier - both were good
Enjolras - good
Eponine - average
Fantine - average
Cosette - average
Young Cosette - average
Javert - weak. (It seemed like he didn't have the range. Of course, walking out of the theater I heard another gentleman say "That Javert sure had a great voice!". So what do I know?)
Gavroche - poor

Interestingly, the performance has been held over at least once or twice so I believe sometime during this month there will be a different Javert because the first Javert had some other obligation.
I am not musically inclined other than taking piano lessons for 9 years and still sucking so I will probably think everybody is amazing...

President Monson read the lyrics from Bring Him Home in a recent general conference. Hey elder, quick, give Fantine the fourth discussion.

Here's my review from last night...

Jean Valjean... above average but disappointing at times.
Javert... average. His voice didn't boom like the voice of Javert should.
Eponine... excellent.
Marius... excellent
Cosette... excellent
Master of the house and his woman... excellent
the guy who is the leader of the students... excellent.
Gavroche... sucked. what can you expect though from a 6th grader at Eastwood elementary. i couldn't understand the kid most of the time though.

Overall, I would rate the performance average to a little above average. I was really looking forward to the Jean Valjean and Javert exchanges and it left me looking... Although I was very pleasantly surprised with Marius, Cosette and Eponine. The young Cosette did a very good job too.
