Default Great architecture coming to Lehi

This is strange. The same guy who designed the Guggenheim museum in Spain and the the Walt Disney concert hall in LA is designing a community at the point of the mountain in Lehi. The community will include a 5-star hotel, convention center, a lake, and shopping centers. I wonder what in the world motivated this guy to take the job.

I look forward to it coming together. With areas like this and the planned renovation of downtown, Utah is changing in a big way.

Add this to the new mall that is going in by Cabelas, the mall has been called "the gateway plus provo town centre on steroids". Lehi is coming up, maybe i will hold on to my house for a few more years.

I'm sure he could have made more money elsewhere. He mentions having turned down Donald Trump numerous times.

It sounds to me like he is enamored with the idea of having as much control over the project as he wants.

That maybe the primary reason, but the Ashby family (I believe they're behind TG Point, aren't they?) have plenty of cash to offer.

Thanksgiving Point is turning out to be a terrific place. I like it. Hard to believe it's Utah County.

When I was selling engineering software I had the city engineers from Alpine, Highland and Lehi in for training sessions on how to use the civil software and it was a lot of fun talking to them about the new projects coming down the pike in the area. Utah residents who're Cheesecake Factory lovers are finally going to get their wish.

Yeah, this project is going to be huge. My partner helped put together a deal for a parcel there. Also in the works and recently put under contract was the entire Geneva site. A master planned community is in the works there. There are some things planned west of Lehi as well.

It is the Ashton Family. I used to date one of them back in the day.
