I thought it interesting because when I drove to Ann Arbor a few months ago and hit Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Louisville and Nashville along the way, I didn't realize it upped my list from 30 to 36. Just missing Jacksonville, Indy, Charlotte and Milwaukee.

I count 20, but that's only because so many Texas cities are on the list. I'm surprised Minneapolis isn't on the list if OKC is. Is that because Minneapolis splits its metro population with St. Paul?

I guess I get the award for least-travelled. Thats me with 9 cities visited. I didn't count airports or drive-throughs, but that would still leave me under 20.

My list -
LA
San Jose
SF
Seattle
Denver
Las Vegas
Fresno
Sacramento
KC

Pretty pathetic, really.

You've never been to San Diego?

Lived in California most of my life and I have never been to San Diego. Tragic, I know. Hopefully that will change next summer. The kids really want to go to Legoland.

The thing is, in a family of 5 kids with parents who were self-employed, long distance travel for vacation was tough, so our vacations usually consisted of a long weekend somewhere within east driving distance of home. I've been to the coastal redwoods more times than I can count.

Don't feel bad. My first visit was with danimal after we were married. In college I had a roommate from Orange County. We thought it was funny that I had never been to San Diego and she had never been to San Francisco.

39. The one I'm missing is Fresno. I'm not in a hurry to cross that one off.
