I think it means most teams have their later season slots already filled with conference games and the few that don't already have them filled ahead of time. Most teams' schedule flexibility resides in September, not October.

I don't have any problem with scheduling them under the circumstances.

However, Tom and Bronco talked like it wasn't a bad idea to schedule a 1AA team and they planned on doing it in the future.

I do have a problem with that, especially half way through the season in a year we play the suck MWC schools.

They should always schedule one of those as the first game, call it the fall scrimmage and charge a price equal to the value of the product that will be on the field.

Wasn't it a result of the additional 12th game in the schedule? Or was there some additional rescheduling?

I think it's better than having 2 byes in 3 weeks.
