After reading this, it's a wonder he was able to finish the marathon. I can't believe this hasn't happened to him before.

Just couldn't hang, few could. Ritzenhein even admitted that if he had tried to keep up, he most likely wouldn't have been able to finish.

Having said that, Hall's race was disappointing. I was very surprised that Ritzenhein beat him. I didn't see that coming at all. Score one for the Nike guy.

If what the commentators were saying was correct, Hall ran the exact pace/finish time he set out to run. I don't view that as disappointing.
