Default Interesting map of ADHD in the USA

Notice that Utah is among the lowest. Seems less prevalent, less diagnosed in the Western USA.

A fair analysis of this map ought to consider that ADHD could well be not a real disease but an excuse, and source of income to shrinks and what the prevalance of diagnosis says about cultures.

Perhaps there is more truth to the inbreeding jokes about the southeast?

Interesting that there is not only a geographic skewing, but there also seems to be, at the state level, an income divide. The top four states are West Virginia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Without looking it up, these have to be four of the poorest states around, as far as per capita income is concerned.
