Default There was only 1 good thing about the BYU vs. TCU game tonight

I never have to watch the MTN again.

Call me crazy, but I would not put this team, based on how good I think it is, higher than a 6 seed. I think a ranking between 21-24 would be very appropriate.

This team does not look good. Not at all. There isn't going to be a MWC tourney championship. There isn't going to be a deep run in the NCAAs. Right now, I'm predicting losing in the 2nd round. I think even with a high seed, getting to the Sweet 16 would be gravy for this team.

This may sound overrly pessimistic, but that's just what I think is the obvious truth. The team has no center! Hartsock is a great player. But he's inadequate at the 5 on both ends.

We'll always look back and wonder what could have happened if Davies had not been booted. I think BYU fans will be very disappointed to see the Jimmer thing end on a sour note. I would love to be wrong. I would love to eat crow. I just don't see it.

Wow, last night against New Mexico. That was fun. The way Jimmer was filling it up in the first half was something incredible. It's one of those things that you are watching, and it's just stunning, even though to some degree you have come to expect it. I wonder if we wil ever see something like this at BYU again.

Btw, I really like Steve Alford as a coach. Thats one thing I am going to miss about leaving the MWC. Playing against teams like NM and Alford.

Still kind of wondering why Rogers gets so few minutes. I mean, he is not incredibly good, but you would think he could play a few more minutes to give blows to Abouou and Collinsworth.

If BYU beats SDSU today, we may be looking at a 2 seed. But to some degree, I think if BYU wins, it will harm SDSU more than it will help BYU.

Yup, this game against SDSU was evidence of how important Davies is against a team with a strong frontcourt. Honestly at times, it looked like BYU was just a bunch of small boys playing against men.

We will always wonder what could have been. Because a season like this will not likely happen again in the next 30 years.
