Eco-Challenge
Anyone thinking of participating?
http://www.cougarboard.com/noframes/...tml?id=1771368 I am really considering it, but it sure sounds like a butt-kicker. Only mountain bikes are allowed. |

I am but I don't own a mountain bike and Ironman Coeur d'Alene is two weeks later. Otherwise, it sounds like lots of fun.

I hadn't even considered it, but it does sound like fun. 38 miles on a mountain bike definitely is not the same as 38 on a roadie. A mile in the pool sounds like enough to do me in.
Didn't Bronco's brother win last year, with Bronco a not so close second? |

it sounds fun.
a mile swim is the easy part. A good mountain bike would not be a problem. In fact, it would be fun to win it. Mountain bikes typically have triples, don't forget.

I've got a triple mtb. I'm still waiting for the quadruple to come out.

Kind of a pussy version of an Eco-Challenge... Where is the ropes course? The kayaking? |
