Default Speaking of climbing/hiking...

any of you folks ever make the hike to this place?:

Lake Blanche and Sundial Peak. It's about a 3 mile or so hike that takes a good 2- 2 1/2 hours. It's in Big Cottonwood Canyon - Mill B South Fork. Head up the trail and when you cross the bridge, bear left.

I did it way back in '89. I'll do it again this next summer with any of my kids that want to make the hike and will take lots of pics.

Yes it is. It's one of the many little natural sites to see after a short drive and a hike from the center of the Salt Lake Valley.

Lots of great stuff in the canyons around here. If you're an outdoors person, Utah is tough to beat.

Dunno. I've never fished it, but I'm sure my 12 year old will take his fly rod and give it a try.

It may be, as the Utah F&W is pretty good at stocking the little lakes in the mountains. I'll let you know.

I've been there many times. I trail run that occasionally on my lunch break. It is grueling. Steep and rocky. But worh every bit of it. I have seen people fish there. I have never seen anybody catch anything.
