Default Bears--Utah camps

Just read the Adam post on day in the life of a prophet and actually brings up a topic I was going to ask about.

Does anyone have any information on bears and Utah especially Utah County area or where to find such information?

Should I be concerned about my kids going off to camps?

I found this:

I wouldn't be concerned if I were you. Black Bear attacks are extremely rare, and black bear killings almost unheard of. That Black Bear who killed the boy in AF Canyon was acting far outside the norm. I think it was the first recorded instance of a Black Bear killing a human in Utah history if I'm not mistaken.
