Big game against Baylor today
Wouldn't it be funny if BYU won by thuggish play and bad reffing? After the lady Bears went down in similar fashion?

No surprise. This team goes out with a whimper. Thank goodness this season is out of its misery. Without Davies, next might be worse. Is Rosé past his prime?
His recruiting is very suspect. In the era where athleticism is the key BYU is regressing.

Seems appropriate for this team that a bad play by a senior who should have known better cost them the game. Zylstra's needless purposeful foul with about 40 seconds left, down by 3.
Zylstra didn't shoot well, and I think that was the difference in this game. They needed some additional production and didn't get it. Couldn't keep Pierre Jackson from doing anything he wanted. Davies had a good game (still frustrated by his dumb fouls). And all things considered Tyler Haws had a good game. Matt Carlino didn't come alive until the 2nd half. If he had shot better earlier in the game, would have made a difference. Safe to say that 14 loss Baylor that struggled in the Big 12 is better than BYU. They have proven it in 2 games. Still don't know why Anson Winder is glued to the bench. |
