Oh what might have been.

This team lacks sufficient talent to compete. Rose is a good coach but does not recruit well.

We will likely never see another team like Jimmer's senior year. Davies playing a solid 5. Hartsock a great 4 on both sides of the floor. Abouo solid at the 3. Jackson Emery, the best defensive 2 in memory.

This team never looked smart. Never looked fit. And certainly was never athletic. Poor shooting. Just not fun to watch at all. A poor product. And yes, eyes are starting to turn towards the coach for putting this kind of product on the floor. I never had the feeling this year that this was a well coached team. On the contrary.

Thank God Cusick is gone and will now be relegated to stake basketball. Zylstra I tip my hat to. I wish he had been more aggressive on the offensive end this year. And Davies will go down as one of our best 5s. Frustrating player though. And his personal indiscretions f'ed our best team in the last 25 years.

The only hope is that the incoming class next year can turn things around. Bigs may be a huge problem. Austin and Harward? Mental midgets in uncoordinated unathletic bodies. That's going to be extremely ugly.
