Boise might not have any snob appeal due to low academic standing, but its Athletic Department works hard at succeeding on the field and on the court.

problem is we don't have much in the way of academics to brag about either, being a non-research institution.

Our entrance standards are decent and placing students in grad schools is excellent. I wish we had meaningful research.

I agree, but we would not be considered a sister institution of any major research school. We are a large feeder school.
