Default Anyone ever cooked Swordfish steaks?

Swordfish was a popular BBQ item when I lived in Boston. I've thought about trying my hand at them, but at $9/pound I don't want to screw them up as I'll only be buying a few. I haven't got much experience grilling fish, any tips?

I don't eat anything that breathes in the water.

I just can't stand the taste or smell of seafood. Literally makes me physically nauseous.

Although, I will say, Tim and I were at Market Street a couple weekends ago after a Real Salt Lake game and we had an artichoke crab dip, and I was surprised that the aftertaste wasn't overbearingly fishy.

Swordfish doesn't have a fishy taste. It, along with salmon, is the only fish that I really enjoy.

No crab, shrimp, or lobster??? I am not a big fish guy, but crustaceans are delish.

People ALWAYS tell me that about the kind of seafood they love..."It doesn't have a fishy taste"...and then I taste it, and of course it does.

Being that I hate seafood, I will still always try something even if I think I won't like it.

Ditto that. I am definitely 'pro' shellfish.

Hey realtall,

It sounds like we need to get together for a meal now and again. You're with me on the shellfish and Bob's both.
