Default I went to the Jazz/Clippers last night...

watching the game in person has made me a bit more of a fan, probably because the Jazz still play basketball the way it was meant to be played - as a team. I may have to tune in to a few games now.

Many thanks to Jeff Lebowski for the tickets. It was good to hang with you and your son. My wife even commented that you "made it easier to be around BYU fans."

LOL.

Yes, that was fun. Let's do it again sometime.

President Monson was at the game. When asked who his favorite player was, he responded:

"I like a lot of them," President Monson admitted. "I like that new man, (Kyle) Korver. I like (Matt) Harpring's gutsy way of playing. He's all right."

That cracked me up. I wonder why he singled out those two in particular...

I think it is cool that Pres Monson is making a conscious effort to reach a younger generation.....hanging out at NBA games, talking to paparazzi, etc...Does anyone know if there are plans for him to put up a MySpace page?

Well if you notice, EVERY cup is black. So I am guessing that is the color of the cup, not necessarily the color of the contents of the beverage.

Does he have to wear a suit everywhere he goes? Maybe he could relax a little and get a Abercrombie and Fitch sweatshirt like the dude in front of him. On second thought the more I look at that picture the more that guy looks like a real douche bag. Two pairs of glasses, nobody over 30 should ever shop at A&F and his wife looked like she's gone through about 30 botox sessions.

UteStar, how'd you score second row tickets right in front of President Monson's wife?

Perhaps mine eyes deceive me, but do I detect a HINT of gold chain?

PS $1000 bucks says the woman behind T-Mo is using her Razr to text to her mom and sister..."I am sitting behind Thomas Monson at the Jazz game!"
