I will admit I think Belinelli was a steal for the Warriors for the simple fact of the style/brand of ball they play.

I'm not saying he will avg 10+ ppg as a rookie, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he does. Especially since they traded Jason Richardson.

Yes, he's a prefect fit. J Rich was very inconsistent from outside. Belinelli can flat out shoot the rock. I don't care who the competition is, if you can shoot, you can shoot. Check out this video on you tube. Fast forward to 1:45 mark to see some real sharp shooting:

What would really surprise me is if the Warriors actually make the playoffs again this year. My guess is the Warriors win about 35-40 games this year.

Jazz on the other hand will win at least 50 games. So you can have your 10 point win tonight, I'll take the playoffs and winning a division.

Whaddaya say...make it an even 100 bucks or should we raise the stakes?
Tempting, very tempting... There is too much riding on BD staying healthy though. Without him the W's are dead, and the chance of him missing significant portions of the season is too high.

I really don't understand this line of thinking. What would be such a surprise about it? The W's played more than half the season before the big trade with Indy. From that time forward, they played some of the best ball in the league.

I guess Norcal is off biting his pillow again.

Tough time to be a Golden State fan... watching your team get beat down by the crappy Jazz time and time again.

After all, Utah has no championships.

Yawn. What's with this biting a pillow thing anyway? You are really obsessed aren't you? What are you even talking about?

Not really. Unlike you, my life doesn't revolve around the Jazz.

That's right, Utah has no championships. Congratulations.

And yet you started two separate threads about how your Warriors would beat the Jazz yesterday.

You are hilarious.

Well, Belinelli lit it up from the outside. It was about 45 minutes too late, but he showed what he's capable of in garbage time.

There were no F-bombs dropped last night, and the kids stayed asleep.

It's called a little friendly smack-talk to start the new season. Geez....
Someone has to provide some balance to all the freaking Jazz fans around here. CB was completely unbearable when talking about the NBA, because so many Jazz fans there are incapable of rational discussion. I'm hoping it's a little more intelligent around here.
