The truth was I was embarrassed for you that you were so worked up about your butt being kicked that you had to call me a pussy. I mean, how old are you? So I let you get by with the vanity of presuming that I or any sentient being reading this thread might actually believe that you used that term because you thought you were winning (see how stupid that sounds?). Moreover, you were regurgitating the same ting over and over and so it was a bit tedious to boot. So how to stop without being rude and making you embarrass yourself even more? Surely you see my dilemma.

After this exchage most people still reading will conclude: 1. the SF is worth serious consideration (meaning I win, as this ws my goal) and 2. we are both tenacious boobs (which would be a great name for a rock band).

you never did address 4 stars vs. 3 stars. An admission of defeat.

Maybe you missed th epart where I showed that the people complaining about the SF were not ther sharpest knives in the drawer. IOW, where the basis for the rating is faulty, the rating itself is faulty.

Is your post therefore an admission of poor reading comprehension?

So dumb people buy the SF?

That's an admission of defeat.

Sadly, because it is so easy to use, dumb people buy it hoping to conquer their own stupidity. You know how stupid people always blame someone or something else for their problems (I am quite confident you know exactly what I am talking about)? These are the type of people that posted negative reviews. You failed to post the positive reviews, choosing instead to be selective and intentionally misleading. Is this an admission of the inadequcy of your position? In light of our discussion in this thread, however, it isn't necessary to post the positive reviews, as I think the advantages of the SF are pretty clear.

And brillaint reviews they were. "There was no winscreen so I surrounded the stove with rocks and this made it get really hot so that it melted the plastic parts even though they are designed to operate within an inch or two of an open flame. Gee, what a stupid stove."

Maybe the wind"screen" was a teensy too blocked off? Maybe if it was that windy those flimsy foil windscreens woudln't have worked? Noooo, it must be the stupid stove!

Well, I must say - I've certainly gotten multiple pro's and con's for each stove and style.

Thanks all for the input. I'm not sure I know any of you well enough to tell you which stove I end up with - I mean, I don't want to gain any enemies or be known as stupid or a non flying-cooking above 12K feet-camping in the cold pussy or anything.

But seriously - thanks for the input. I think I've come to the conclusion that both stoves would do what I want them to. So now it's just up to looking at the features and determining which are most important to me.
