Which is not surprising. Nor am I suggesting there is anything sinister about it. I'm sure it's in the EULA when you add the app. Maybe it's anonymous, maybe it's not.

But anyway, they know how often and how much the scriptures are being read, what scriptures are being read more than others, etc.

The member of the First Q of the 70 said that most years 1 Nephi Chapter 1 is the most read part of the BoM. Not surprisingly.

I was at a church meeting where a general authority talked about the data they get from the app.
