The New World
I saw The New World last night. It is the anti-blockbuster: it moves at its own pace, not much dialog, quiet and deliberate. But the cinematography and the score were the best I've seen in some time, maybe ever. I know this may sound dumb, but it was more poetry than a movie, but I enjoyed it thoroughly.

If you are going to see this movie, you should see it in a theater, unless you have at least a 51' at home. As I said, the most impressive parts are the visions of America untouched by Western hands and the score - Wagner and Mozart. |
