Default Mariotti is an idiot sometimes.

He just said that D. Williams is under appreciated in Utah.

I suspect he meant under appreaciated on a national level. But under appreciated in Utah? That is probably the only place he is sincerely appreciated.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Sometimes an idiot? The only time he doesn't look like an idiot is when he is standing next to Woody Paige.

But for some reason I always find myself rooting for Woody to win. That says a lot about me, I suppose. Or then again, maybe it says nothing.

Perhaps I should have said "often an idiot."

Do they show "Around the Horn" in France? No wonder the world hates us.

I get it on Armed Forces Network. It comes on at 11:00 pm (I'm assuming it's the live feed from the 5:00 pm East Coast showing). Right after that is PTI just before I go to bed.

Off topic, but AFN showed saturday night's HBO broadcast of the De la Hoya fight live for free for our service men and women. That was cool.
