Default Looks like the CG fantasy football playoffs are set

I draw the Cedar City Ligers in the first round of the playoffs (whose team is this by the way)

and Mike Waters vs the Fightin Feathers.

Things will get real interesting during week 17, the championship game will be played when most stars will be sitting.

Perhaps the winner of the whole thing gets a book of his choice, given that those contests dried up?

The Ligers will be tough competition for you Junkie, but I'm pulling for you, I think the Ligers coach is a jerk. : )

I believe the Ligers is OhioBlue's team. A formidable foe, considering the fact that he put up almost 130 points this week.

As for me, I'm looking forward to an early offseason. No real plans. Just sit back and enjoy watching the CG playoffs from the comfort of my office computer.

The reason I did so poorly this season, is that I thought this was set up like any other league, where you actually have to have at least 3 receivers.

I didn't realize that you could play 4 running backs.

So basically I think the season is a crock.

I feel the same way about the MWC...we didn't know Grady would be so bad and we didn't realize there would be no running game...clearly, this MWC season should not count either!

Someone had to knock you back a notch. You couldn't just run away with the whole thing unchallenged.

Since I'm already posting, here's a couple things I don't like about our format, and about playoffs:

1. We have way too many roster spots, which essentially just rendered the waiver-wire nearly worthless.

2. I don't like playoffs because star players sit at the end of the season on playoff teams, and essentially it's all just a crapshoot. I think whoever performs most consistently, has the best record at the end should be the winner. Which, in this case, would be you.

I agree about the roster spots. I basically gave up on looking for free agents.

Well, thank you.

I like the playoff format, it's not so bad. As of now, everyone is still playing for something, including the Chargers, which will help you out quite a bit. LT is a freak.

Nothing like a 4-game losing streak late in the season (that would be my team). I thought we had a lot of roster spots, too, and that the waiver was nullified.
