Perhaps he's hyperventilating from the excitement.
I felt very similar when it was announced that Brooks Robinson is the guest for this year's fundraising dinner for Ute baseball.

My guess is 15 months. It will take him some time to get used to being one of only 2 dozen or so AA in the area.
