How very generous of Obama. If he's willing to give that kind of scratch to a country to aid in the aftermath of an earthquake, just imagine how much he's willing to give the poor in this country who need government assistance.

At least Bush was willing to donate a few million to Thailand after the tidal wave.

I don't know why we need to subsidize the foolish man who built his house upon the sand. If they won't retrofit medieval stone structures in a known high-risk quake zone, they shoudn't get a bunch of money from us to subsidize their gross negligence.
