Default Looks like while we all love Arrested Development

There is simply not enough of us out there. Looks like Fox has pulled the plug on the best show on TV. I was somewhat surprised it got the renewal this year so the cancellation really is no surprise to me.

Sad that so many great shows have ended before there time.

Also it is interesting the article brings up Homicide: Life on the Street. IMO that is the best dramatic show I have ever seen on TV.

I really do think though that AD will have some options. There is a chance that Fox will move it to FX which would be a great move. Another possible option is that HBO would pick it up. HBO needs another great comedy on it after losing Sex and the City. The problem with AD is that it is rather expensive because of the all the 'main' characters. But DVD sales are strong (I have both seasons) and could lead to a cable station picking it up. I can only hope.

This is by far the best show I've seen in years. It's just too much for a casual viewer to really sink into, though.

I just finished watching the second season and can't remember laughing as hard as I did.

Mrs. Featherbottom, Franklin the puppet? "It's not easy being white...It's not easy being brown!"

one of the best shows as far as content and acting I've seen. too bad it was cancelled.

PS. when is season three on dvd?

Franklin is simply hilarious. One of the many Peanuts references on the show. The other great Peanuts reference is Buster referring to Linus' and Charlie Browns. Funny stuff. Not sure on when season 3 comes out on DVD, but since I missed a lot of the episodes I really want it to come out soon.

Funk, don't forget the "christmas time is here" music that is played everytime someone is depressed (hanging their head).

one of the funniest shows this earth has ever seen.

This is truly an all time great show. I have the first two seasons on DVD and I will be getting the third. Too bad that Showtime and HBO did not work out. Oh well. Gob is one of the all time great characters.
