We speak American english not British. Just because we're watching soccer doesn't mean we need to talk like snooty Brits eating our toast with tea.

It's not a pitch it's a field.

It's not a side it's a team.

Players don't have pace they have speed and quickness.

We don't have matches we have games.

If we want to make this game ours then lets talk like its ours not a foreign game.

I don't give a damn what we say I just want us to play better.

We suck, suck, suck.

And that's why I hate American soccer, we constantly dump the ball due to poor ball handling, our midfielders suck and our strikers are small and slow.

What is a striker? I know forwards, midfielders, and defenders. What is a striker?

A striker is one who hits a golf ball very well. Tiger Woods is a striker. Davis Love III is a striker. Phil Mickelson is a striker. Jim Furyk is not a striker, but he's effective.

He's the appointed scorer or forward.

Rooney was the sole striker for England today. I think the German word is Stuermer but I forget.
