Pelagius has outted himself as a major apologist. Which is fine. There are lot of apologists and it is not surprising that they pop up all the time.

He used the "a" word.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Help me out, Mike. I can't find the post by Pelagius that led you to this conclusion.

Its all true. There is some chance I will be moving to Utah county and I heard that Daniel Peterson and Louis Midgley have weekly fondue parties. I want to make sure I get on the guest list.

I'd never heard of this one, but the title is delightful.

I probably would've titled it The Sanctimoniusness of Whining but his title is much more professional sounding.

actually you can be an apologist anywhere. You don't need to move or change dietary habits or even find new friends (although it will gain you new friends).

Clearly, you have never seen or heard second hand accounts of these parties or you would understand why I can't resist this call. Must get on the list .... no cost too great ... Abraham ...

I enjoy this site because of the opportunity to learn. I have never been concerned that DB is not a player in current Momon historical thought. Of course I never have been concerned that PF Chang's wasn't a player in fine Italian cuisine.

Perhaps you can tell me why I should be concerned DB isn't a player.
