Default Los Lunas Decalogue Stone

I'm sure you've already all discussed this, but since I missed that discussion can someone tell me what you all think about this rock? I'm not sure what to make of it.

Good find and I had only briefly heard about it.

That's interesting. I hadn't heard of it either.

I'm surprised that, despite its weight...some scientist somewhere hasn't tried to have it moved so it can be studied, but it sounds like wear and tear of tourists may hurt those efforts anyway.

I echo Archea. Great find!

Yes we all knew about it, but didn't want to discuss it here for fear that SU might take a vacation to NM and attempt to destroy it.

Oh valid concern. Sorry to be the one to bring it up.

Also, I can't really take credit for the find. I met some guy at a wedding reception last weekend who was telling me about it. I accused him of making it up, and he got my email address so that he could email me the link and prove he wasn't making it up. I honestly didn't think he was going to have anything to send.

I'll still give you partial credit.
