Interesting genetics study on eye color
I always thought it was simple Mendelian genetics.
But is more complex. It is related both to differences in protein, and the amount of protein expressed. My daughter's eyes are grey, for now, which is kind of interesting. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/6195091.stm |

My eyes are blue, my wife's eyes are brown.
All of our kids' eyes are brown. I have weak eye color genes.
