Default How did Kaveinga's USC trip go?

Did he switch over to the dark side, or is he still a cougar? These next few weeks will be suspenseful.

Since he did not change his mind on the trip, I am thinking we are in a pretty spot. I spoke to a buddy of mine who is a USC booster and he believes Keveinga will stay true to his commitment and stay a Cougar. Let's hope that is true

I have no inside contacts and know very little about recruiting, but I thought it was a good sign that he didn't immediately give a verbal to USC. Before he went, I thought there was a 10% chance we would retain him. I have now pushed that estimation up to 25%.

I hope then that Bronco will be on him like white on rice, on a paper plate next to a glass of milk in the middle of a snowstorm.

You're a different type of Texan than Mike. I like the variety.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Yep, I'm of the "kick ass" variety. LOL One of my favorite people I've ever known was one of my mission companionsm, Elder Grady B. Gammons. He was from Ft. Worth (I'm from East of Dallas, down the road from FM Coug a few miles. Whenever we would talk trash prior to roughhousing he used to say: "I'll kick your ass every day of the week, including twice on Sunday." Lol.

I'm not as smooth on a computer as I am in person, maybe that the keyboard gives me more brain cramps.

Where do you live? There's not many people who live East of me and consider themselves "near Dallas".

Did you BM me on CougarBoard a while back about coming over for a game? Or are there two CG/CB'ers in Quinlan? Hard to believe if so.
